An Evening of Fashion, Beauty and Elegance For A Cause at the Chateau Chanel in Hollywood
Glendale, CA December 12, 2013 – It was indeed a night of elegance, guests dressed in black and white on December 7, 2013 held at the posh Los Feliz Mansion owned by Black Door Global called Chateau Chanel. The event started with red carpet arrivals and interviews, preceded with piano and violin performance by renowned talent Koi Anunta, then followed by a fabulous fashion show by 3 talented designers, Lou Razon, Tamta and Claire’s Collection.
Lou Razon , a couture designer showed her 14-pc holiday collection in vibrant red, green, purple and black. Lou’s styles portrays femininity and her lines are clean and classic.
Tamta, a young and upcoming designer focused on using crochet in her all black couture collection. The intricacy of her styles shows how patient and determined she is in her career by making hand-made pieces.
A veteran in the evening and pageantry industry, Claire’s Collection showcased her neutral-colored beaded collection accessorized with What a Betty headpieces inspired by the Great Gatsby and jewelry collection by Samira.
Presented by Black Door Global and Miss Philippines USA organization, this benefit show’s mission was to raise funds for the typhoon Haiyan victims through the loving care of ABS-CBN Foundation International. The event would not be successful without the support of the following sponsors: Hula Girl, My Rockin Party, DJ Wilson, Chafeh Graphics, So Cal Fusion Catering, The Samira Show, Careline Hospice, IamSor, Dare U to Care Foundation.
The night ended with the recognition of Paul Walker whose foundation Reach Out Worldwide had given support to numerous tragedies all over the world. Cecile Ramos, the president of Historic Filipinotown Neighborhood Council handed a plaque to Ty Granderson Jones, who accepted it on Paul’s behalf. Briefly, Ty expressed to the audience his affiliation with Paul and how Paul had touched the lives of people through his foundation.
This benefit event was hosted and organized by Miss Philippines USA Ambassador Camille Teodoro, Miss Philippines USA Project Director Lou Razon and Marketing Strategist Mai Cutanda. Hollywood guests who came and supported were Cher Calvin of KTLA with Vasco Di Noya, Producer Ray Murphy, Rita Gray, Ty Granderson Jones, Lawrence Hilton Jacobs, Elyes Gabes, Restaurateur Nico Santucci and many more.
